Season : June - Oct

Brief Description

This classic demanding trek along a giant Karakoram glacier passes beneath the peaks of the imposing Batura wall and Batura ice flows with some of the Karakoram’s best mountain scenery. Batura, the most accessible and fourth-longest Karakoram glacier, stretches west from KKH for 56km. the trek’s exseptional scenery includes 14 peaks higher than 7000m and huge ice floes plummeting more than 4000m from the Batura wall to the glacier. Most of the trek is through ablation valleys and along streams, with almost no steep segments, it affords gradual acclimatization and presents no major difficulties. Even the trek’s two glacier crossing are relatively easy as you retrace your steps back to Passu. Though not a long trek the porter stages in this region are twice as more which make this a expensive trek in comparison to others regions.
